Ruth Davis

Ruth Davis, born on May 26, 1938, passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 86. She was a woman known for her infectious sense of humor, often spicing up gatherings with her playful jokes and jovial personality. Her love for casinos and games of chance was unparalleled, with bingo and blackjack being her favorite pastimes.

Ruth's passion for spending time with her family and creating lasting memories was evident in everything she did. She cherished moments spent with her loved ones, relishing in their company and spreading joy with her mischievous spirit.

In her zest for life, Ruth was also remembered for her spirited nature, often displaying a feisty side. Despite her tough exterior, those close to her knew that beneath the bravado was a heart of gold.

A lover of excitement, Ruth found joy in unconventional activities, such as racing wheelchairs, adding an element of thrill to her days. Her unique approach to life and her ability to find joy in the simplest of pleasures will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Ruth is the wife of the late Roland Davis, dear sister of Carolyn Burke, Keen Davidson and the late Carl and Don Davidson. She is granny to Tim, Kim, Crystal, Kelly, Teresa, Lisa, Donna, Pam, Carolyn, Carl and Kenneth and great-granny to many.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Goshen, on Tuesday, August 20th from 5 PM until time of memorial services beginning at 6 PM.

In her memory, her legacy of laughter, love, and spontaneity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
