Sam Deller Latham

Sam D. Latham, born Nov. 14, 1937 and died Sept. 25, 2023 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife Gladys, children Lisa, Dan, Kathy, Molly and Larry, with 12 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids, step children Helen, Raymond, Mary, Susan, Grace and John with 16 grandkids and 10 great-grandkids.

Sam was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Married Mary Lorraine Haynes in 1958 and had five children. He moved to Miamiville, Ohio in 1973 and has lived there ever since. He later married Gladys in 1981. He has held many various jobs over the years including Natorps, Constellation Steel, Cincinnati Milacron, Whitings and Walmart. In his younger years, he owned a bait shop and had a great love of the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, gardening and chopping wood. He also enjoyed reading and scrap recycling. He was a great story teller and jokester! He loved music and wrote several songs. He also owned lots of his beloved cats. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Saturday, Oct. 14th from 1 PM until time of services at 2 PM.
