Sandra Louise Dickhaus

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Louise Dickhaus, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who peacefully departed this world on October 14, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on December 10, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Stanley and Mildred (nee Dalton) Gallagher.

Sandy is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years Paul Stephen Dickhaus; Loving mother of Michael Dickhaus and Angela Dickhaus; Cherished Granny of Brandi Dickhaus, Brooke Dickhaus, and Leah Dickhaus; Great-granny of Willow and Aurora McDonald.

Sandy was an exceptional woman known for her warmth, compassion, and love for her family. She found joy in guiding her children and grandchildren with her gentle advice and thoughtful wisdom.

Throughout her life, Sandy found joy in playing the piano and tending to her garden. She was an active member of the Cozaddale Baptist Temple, where she taught elementary and Sunday school. Sandy was a devoted member of the choir, sharing her beautiful voice with the congregation, and could often be found helping at the church bookstore. Sandy's dedication to her faith and community touched the lives of many.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Cozaddale Baptist Temple, with visitation starting at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Sandra will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens - 5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150.
