Sarah Lucille Fry

Sarah Lucille Fry was born on March 26, 1928, to the late Edward and Ada (nee Miller) Langford. Lucille was the beloved wife of 74 years to the late Allen H. Fry; Loving mother of Kathleen A. Niemer, Jeffrey E. (Ramona) Fry, and Diane A. (Steve) Thackston; Grandmother of Jeffrey W. (Robin) Fry, Bryan A. Thackston, Anthony (Rachel) Thackston, Jennifer Sarah Fry, Benjamin E. (Jessica) Thackston and the late James Allen (Crystal) Flynn; Great-grandmother of 7; Dear sister of Frances Kenser. Along with her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her two sisters Ruby Wilson Burch and Janice Hurst and her brother Eugene Langford.

Lucille loved to spend her time bird watching and tending to her flower beds. She was a long time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also the Miamiville United Methodist Church. Lucille will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St. Milford, OH 45150. Funeral service will be held the next morning on Thursday, February 29, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor Rick Pitcairn will be officiating.
