Seymour Mcwhorter

Seymour McWhorter beloved husband of 63 years to the late Lennie Emma (nee Parker) McWhorter; loving father of Beverly (late William) Boyd and Debra (Mike) Spurlock; 7 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren; dear brother of Charlie McWhorter and Dora Mae Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ance and Maggie (nee Hopper) McWhorter; and siblings, Granville McWhorter, Ray McWhorter, Ance McWhorter Jr, Beatrice Greer and Laura Pennington. Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 30, 2020. Age 83. Residence Goshen, OH and London, KY. Seymour worked as a Supervisor with General Motors Company until his retirement. Seymour was a master mechanic in restoring old cars, which he loved dearly. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa. He loved the Lord and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Milford. Graveside service will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens, 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH at 11:30 AM on Tuesday January 5, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to Bearing Precious Seed, 1369 Woodville Pike, Milford, OH 45150.
