It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane Ross, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on May 25, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Shane spent life in Milford, where he became a cherished member of the community.
Shane was a 1985 graduate from Goshen High School and resided in Milford at the time of his passing. Known for his contagious laugh and witty sense of humor, he could light up any room. He loved nothing more than staring stories and making his friends and family smile. A die hard Kentucky Wildcats fan, his spirit always shone bright during game days, and he cheered on his team with unmatched zeal.
Family was everything to Shane. He was a devoted husband to his wife Aimee Ross, with whom he shared 25 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love and support, creating countless memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew them. He is survived by Aimee, his father William Ross, his mother Charlene Ross, step children: Anthony Smith, Christopher Smith, Danielle Smith, Emily Watson and Shaina Ross. Many grandchildren athe include Bayleigh Rogers who Aimee and himself have been raising since birth. Also survived by brother William Ross, sister Nancy Ross and his favorite niece Kelsy Ross, who adored her Uncle Shane.
Shane's kindness extended to everyone he met - he'd do anything for anybody without hestiation. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and the kind of friendship that leaves a lasting imprint.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Shane's life during a memorial service Wednesday March 12, 2025, visitation at 2 PM and funeral at 3 PM at Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, Ohio. The family welcomes attendees to share their favorite memories and stories as we honor the life of a truly wonderful man who gave so much to those around him.
Shane you will be dearly missed, but your laughter and spirit will live on in each of us. Rest in peace, dear friend.
Shane was preceded in death by brother Kevin Ross.
