Sharon Elaine Averwater

Dr. Sharon Elaine Averwater (nee Titus), 62, passed January 16, 2022 after battling cancer. Beloved wife of Thomas John Averwater. Loving mother of Tommy Averwater. Dear sister of Karen (Doug) Dowson, Dan Titus, Donna (Doug) Ginn; Brother-in-law to Ed (Devona) Averwater and Eric (Tammy) Averwater. Also survived by her nieces and nephews: Emily, Kaden, Robert, Trenton, Nick, Katie, Abigail and Amber.

Sharon's leadership and love of people was shown in her professional life as a teacher and then as an administrator at the Clermont County Educational Service Center. In the beginning, she used her talents to train teachers in Best Practices, then went in to lead the office as the Assistant Superintendent until her retirement in 2017.
Sharon's personal life was her pride and joy. First and foremost, she loved her husband, Tom, deeply and was grateful for his loving relationship with their son. She loved watching and traveling with her son's sports teams throughout the years, as well as spending time with her family and friends, camping, enjoying her pool, and shopping, She never met a stranger or a person-in-need that she wouldn't help, as she was always willing to lend a hand and give her time.

Visitation Friday, January 21st 5:00 -7:00 PM at Owensville United Methodist Church 2580 US 50 Batavia, OH 45103 and Funeral Service Saturday January 22nd 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Stonelick Cemetery.
