Shawn Patrick Dane

Shawn Patrick Dane, 30, was involved in a motorcycle accident that resulted in the sudden loss of his life on the evening of May 12th, 2022. Shawn was born on December 24th, 1991, in Cincinnati Ohio to Patrick Dane and Valerie Neal (Brians). He is the brother to Dustin Brians, preceded by Tiffani Brians, Samantha Neal, Rachel Dane, Jake Dane, and Emma Spurlock. He is the Grandson of (Frank) Anne Dane, (Lawrence Brians) Pamela, (Pamela Lyons). Nephew to Butch/Renee Dane, Melinda/Ray Sallee, Kim Dane, Nick/Sheri Dane, Kellie/Rich Ferris, (Russell) Brians, Larry Brians. Cousin to many, and dear beloved friend to many more. Shawn proudly served as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army from 2011 to 2015. He completed Airborne School after basic training and traveled to Camp Casey South Korea for his first duty station. Shawn would finish his time in the Army with a Long-Range Surveillance Unit at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state. After serving his country, Shawn continued to build a life that allowed him to be of service to others. In 2018, Shawn earned an associate degree through the University of Cincinnati in health care and built a successful career improving lives as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Shawn lived life to the fullest and is loved by many family members and friends all over the world. His love for helping others and making their lives easier was a gift. We laughed hard when we were around Shawn and his contagious smile was something that could make you feel better in any circumstance. Shawn will be missed by everyone that knew him. Rest easy Shawn. Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home – Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 Friday May 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until time of funeral service at 8:00 PM. Military honors will be performed at 7:15 PM. If so, desired memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
