Sherri Ann Taylor, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most. Born on February 14, 1964, Sherri brought warmth, kindness, and joy into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Sherri was truly one of a kind - a beautiful soul whose laughter, compassion, and vibrant spirit made every gathering brighter. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures: sunny days spent boating on Cumberland Lake, the beauty of flowers and butterflies, and most of all, the precious moments shared with her beloved husband and best friend of 43 years, Richard Taylor.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Matthew Taylor and a proud, adoring grandmother to Tanner, Noah, Oaklynn, and Dylan, who brought endless joy to her life. Sherri's home was always filled with love, laughter, and open arms, making everyone who entered feel like family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Taylor, who honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, as well as her in-laws, Martha and Carl Taylor.
Sherri treasured the friendships she built throughout her life, holding many of those dear friends as close as family. Her caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for others will leave a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Sherri's life on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by funeral services at 12:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the beautiful memories Sherri leaves behind. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever
