ALLEN, SHIRLEY JEAN (nee HARR) - Beloved wife of the late Robert Leon Allen; Devoted mother of Steve Allen, Cathy Allen, and Cristy (Dan) Behler; Loving Granny of Daniel Allen, Matthew Allen, Christopher (Nickie) Allen, Charles Allen, Sarah (Chad) Israel, and Deah (Ryan) Wright; Great Granny of Christopher, Ella, Grace, Dana, Charlie, Griffin, Sadie, and many more; Sister of Judy (the late Virgil) Fairchild, the late Joyce Carpenter, the late Roy Harr, the late Brenda Stamper, and the late David Taylor.

Shirley was known for sewing, especially for making handmade quilts, needlepoint, and knitting. She took great pleasure in working with numbers, so much so that everyone in her family she helped them with a family budget. Shirley was an extremely giving person. She loved to travel with her husband who was an over the road truck driver across the United States.

Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150, Friday June 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
