Shirley Buchanan

Shirley Buchanan age 80, of Batavia died July 10, 2015 at the Jewish Hospital of Kenwood. She was born September 15, 1934 in Wise, Virginia the daughter of John and Louise Adkins Plummer. She retired from White Castle as a cook. Her husband, James M. Buchanan preceded her in death July of 2000, as did her son Darrell "Greg" Kissee in May of 2010. She is survived by her grandchildren, Harlie, Kenny, Katie, Kelsey, Abby and Rylie Kissee, great grandchildren, Callie Kissee & Raelyn Back. Along with her husband and son she was preceded in death by her 12 brothers & sisters. Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens.
