Shirley Ann Smith

Shirley Ann Smith, 87, passed July 20, 2020. Shirley was a life-long Cincinnati resident - graduating from Withrow High School and settling in Milford with her husband Onvey in 1967. She was a loving mother of 5, grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 7, and in her later years, especially loved holding her infant great-grandchildren. She was a gifted singer, performing with big bands, over radio broadcasts, in an award winning barbershop quartet and sung at Carnegie Hall with the May Festival Chorus. Another love was quilting and collecting quilt fabric. Over the years she created many beautiful quilts which she gifted to her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind her loving children John & Peggy Smith, Daniel & Elaine Smith, Gary Smith, Kathy Adams; also Diane Smith, Laura Smith and Jeff Adams; Cherished grandchildren Jessica, Jake & Amanda, Jill, Stephanie, Garrett, Alan & Brittani, Melody & Tony Morris, Steven, Caleb, Trent, Serena and Christian Adams. Also survived by her sister Jean Dugan. She was preceded in death by husband Onvey Smith and son Tom Smith. Memorial service Tuesday July 28th at 7 PM at St. Mark's UMC 4601 Fairfield Ave. Fairfield, OH 45014. Masks will be required for those in attendance.
