Stephen Lawrence Charleville, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 86, in Loveland, Ohio. Born on December 21, 1938, in Cincinnati, Stephen lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.
Stephen dedicated over 40 years to his career as a foreman at Cincinnati Milacron, where his strong work ethic and innovative spirit were admired by many. He was a jack-of-all-trades, known for his ability to fix and build nearly anything. With a passion for crafting furniture and a deep love for working on cars, Stephen found joy in every project he undertook. He was particularly fond of classic Mustangs, proudly owning a 1965 and a 2006 GT Convertible. Among his many interests, he relished the challenge of rebuilding a 1949 Mercury, showcasing his hands-on skills and love of nostalgia.
An adventurer at heart, Stephen cherished his time spent traveling to Canada, where he jointly owned property with his brothers, at Lake of the Woods in Sioux Narrows, Ontario. There, he enjoyed fishing, boating and renovating their cabin with his son and brothers. His love for the outdoors was mirrored in the time he spent in his garage and yard, tending to projects both big and small. Those who knew him recognized his strong will, his clever humor, and a remarkable ability to make even the simplest tasks enjoyable.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Charleville; his daughters, Terri Siddens and Cathy (Dan) Reilly; his son, Cam Charleville; his grandson, Jeremy Siddens; his granddaughter, Cara (Tommy Flynn) Siddens; his great-granddaughter, Reagan; and his brothers, Roger, Les, and Gary Charleville. His family will remember him for his strength, humor, and the unwavering love he provided throughout his life.
