Mr. Steve Eugene Neago Sr., son of the late Mary and George Neago and younger brother of the late George Neago was born January 26, 1930 in Canton, Ohio. Both Dad and his older brother George went to Canton public schools and both helped support the family Café restaurant and several Bars owned and run by their parents. Steve Sr. attended Canton McKinley High School, where graduated in 1948 while he developed his keen interest in amateur photography and increased his athletic skills as a Varsity Cheerleader and Gymnast.

Steve Sr. was accepted to and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Business in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in Business Insurance, in 1952. During his college years, Dad became an OSU Varsity Cheerleader and was an active member of the OSU Varsity Gymnastics Team. He then attended the Ohio Northern University College of Law for 2 years from 1952-53. In 1953. Steve Sr. was drafted into the US Army to serve in the Korean War and soon became an Army Staff Sergeant responsible for a US military supply depot near Japan. On occasional military Rest & Relaxation leave, Dad advanced his deep interest in photography by traveling through Southeast Asia to take thousands of vibrant color pictures of diverse and interesting people, cultures and religions he witnessed in many Asian countries. Dad completed his Army tour of duty in 1953, arrived in the USA during 1954, and started working as a Construction Site Manager building residential houses in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

During this time, Steve Sr. met Rita Mae Williamson at an Ohio Northern University college student party. The sparks seemed to fly when they started to date and after several months of going out together and they chose to get "pinned" as their dating grew more serious. After several more months of dating, Mom and Dad got engaged and went to meet their bride/groom parents whom both gave permission for the marriage. Mom and Dad were married in Davidsville, Pennsylvania on June 15, 1957. The "Stork" made a welcome appearance that pleased them, while Steve Neago Jr. arrived to start their expanding family in July 1958. Dad always loved to take pictures wherever he went out with family! Steve Sr. also put his construction skills to good use when he later managed the construction of the Neago's new family house in North College Hill, Ohio. The "Stork" made a second welcome visit to deliver Craig Neago in July, 1960 as they enjoyed family life in the suburbs of Cincinnati.

Dad was not satisfied as a Construction Site Manager and decided to change careers in 1962 because he wanted more personal contact with customers and friends. He decided to become a Life Insurance Salesman for the Cincinnati Equitable Life Assurance Company in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1960-68 while he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) insurance certification. During that time, Mom and Dad decided the family should move because the family house was too small for their growing family. The Neago family purchased a house in Madeira, Ohio that gave Dad more space to run his expanding Insurance Agency and Insurance Brokerage with more room for his growing children.

Steve Sr. sold his Insurance Agency and Brokerage in 1994, sold their Madeira house, and both chose to retire to farm contry in Hillsboro, Ohio where they lived until 2003. Dad enjoyed taking photography pictures, restoring Cadillac vintage cars, fishing on his pond, while making woodworking crafts and home improvement projects around his property.

In 2003, Steve and Rita moved back to the Cincinnati Ohio area, settling in Milford Ohio. They enjoyed visits from friends and family, and Dad continued his photography hobby.
