Steven "Steve" Curtis Phillips, 64, of South Lebanon, Ohio, passed suddenly at home Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from undetermined medical causes. He was the loving husband of the late Martha "Marti" Phillips. Steve was born April 26, 1958, to the late Donald Curtis and Mary Rose (Holtman) Phillips.
Steve is survived by his sisters Nan (John) McCart, Sally (Mackey) Hartman, Susan (Randy) Kleine, aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steve served the Kroger Company as a retail stock clerk for many years and earned a bachelors' degree at Wilmington College. He loved nature, cooking, and his two Chihuahuas, Chet and Bernie. Steve would help his neighbors by cutting their grass and walking their dogs, and gave anonymously to less fortunate people. He also donated to patriotic, animal, and nature causes.
Steve will be inurned at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
