It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven William Cook, a beloved brother, friend, and devoted laborer, who left us on October 29, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on May 22, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve lived a life full of passion and joy, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Steve graduated from high school and dedicated himself to hard work in the factory industry, but his true joys came from the things that made life a little brighter. An avid golfer, Steve could often be found on the green, perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of friends and family. His love for collecting Hot Wheels cars was not just a hobby; it was a labor of love that showcased his playful spirit and nostalgia for childhood. He had an ear for music, and he particularly cherished the sweet harmonies of the Bee Gees, often tapping his feet and singing along, lighting up any room he entered.
Steve is survived by his loving sisters, Diane Berry, Debbie Tumbleson (and brother-in-law Bob), Terri Anderson (and brother-in-law Deny), and Connie Snedagar, along with his dear sister-in-law, Lucy Cook. Also survived by several niece's and nephew's and a special sister-in-law Pauline. Together they will carry his memory with them, cherishing the laughter and stories that will live on in their hearts.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at Graceland Memorial Gardens 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH 45150. Details regarding the time and date of these services will be shared soon, and we invite all who knew and loved Steve to join us in celebrating his remarkable life.
As we prepare to say our goodbyes, let's remember the laughter, the love of family, and the joy of shared moments that made Steve who he was. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will always remain in the hearts of those he touched.
Steven was preceded in death by: wife Josephine Cook, parents John & Frances Cook, daughter Tammy Cook, and brothers Richard Cook & Bill Cook
