Suzanne F. Lykins

Suzanne F. Lykins, a cherished lifelong resident of Milford, Ohio, gracefully passed away at the age of 82 on February 16, 2025. Born on November 26, 1942, in Glendale, Ohio, Suzanne was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. With her warm smile and generous spirit, she earned the admiration and respect of her community, serving as a dedicated bus driver for the Milford Exempted Village Schools for many years, where she touched the lives of countless students.

Suzanne's family was her pride and joy, and she was known as the steadfast pillar of her household. She is lovingly survived by her children, Jeffrey (Debbie) Lykins, Mary (Scott) Compton, and Michael Lykins; grandchildren, Scotty (Sarah), Timmy (Kelly), Allen-Michael, Kevin Compton, Aliyah Barbabosa, and Luke Lykins; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Jason, Brayden, Ethan, and Finn. She is also survived by her dear brother, George (Barbara) Fitzer, along with many friends, extended family, and her cat Mr. G, who will miss her deeply.

A woman of many passions, Suzanne loved to travel, with a special fondness for her adventures in Rome. She was also known for her culinary skills, particularly her beloved roast recipe that had a way of bringing family and friends together. A proud member of the Ladies of Seton, she devoted herself to her faith and community, fostering a spirit of generosity and compassion that inspired those around her.

Family and friends will gather to honor Suzanne’s remarkable life with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Suzanne will then be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery where she will find her eternal peace.

As we reflect on Suzanne's life, we remember a woman whose love knew no bounds and whose spirit will forever resonate in our hearts. Let us celebrate her memory, cherishing the moments we shared and the warmth she brought to our lives.
