Sylvia I. Braley

July 9, 1929 — December 1, 2024

Sylvia Irene Braley of Loveland, Ohio, entered peacefully into eternal rest on December 1, 2024, at the age of 95. Born in the serene hills of Rockcastle County, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late Casper Steven and Florence Cottrell Elder. Sylvia's life was a testament to love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.

A loving and devoted wife, Sylvia shared 67 wonderful years with her late husband, Eulas Foster Braley. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and steadfast faith. She is now reunited with him and her beloved grandchildren, Scott Braley and Christina Schuchmann, who preceded her in passing.

Sylvia's legacy lives on through her children, who were her greatest pride: Larry (Cathy) Braley, Carol (Ray) Schuchmann, and Janet (Matthew) Rhodes. She also leaves behind her grandchildren-Joy Sampson, Carrie Baker, Ashley Carter, Danielle Lower, and Anna Rhodes-whose lives were forever enriched by her unconditional love. Her great-grandchildren-Judah Sampson, Jaron Sampson, Zach Sampson, Lily Sampson, Emily Wittman, Alyssa Carter, Ethan Carter, and Davis Lower-will carry forward the memories of a great-grandmother who loved them fully and celebrated their accomplishments.

Sylvia was a woman of quiet strength, boundless compassion, and deep faith. She touched countless lives with her kind spirit, welcoming smile, and words of encouragement. Whether she was preparing a favorite family meal, sharing her faith with those around her, or simply enjoying the company of her loved ones, Sylvia's presence was a blessing to all who knew her.

Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her, finding comfort in knowing that she is now free from pain and resting in the arms of her Savior.
