Sylvia L. Hurst

Sylvia Lee Hurst was born 6/9/49 in Richmond, KY. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on 11/9/17 at UC Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio She is preceeded in death by her parents Edna Callahan & Tony Howard, her infant daughter Michelle Lee Allison and her nephew Marvin Goins Jr. (Buddy). She is survived by her sister and bestfriend Cathy Brooks, 2 brothers Novie (Loretta) Howard and Mason Hopson, 2 half sisters Ruthanne Holmes and Marietta Hembree, 1 step daughter Aneesa Barnes, a step son Steve Hurst and 1 grandson Austin Barnes that she loved as her own. 10 nieces, 5 nephews including Kimberly ( Rocky) Leath, Jamie (Amy ) Goins, Shawn (Rachel) Howard, Kimberly (Jackie) Caudill, Cassandra Griffith, Michelle Watkins, Tony and Michael Hopson and Connie (Bill) Adams, Juanita (Shawn) Stacy. 28 great niece and nephews ; including Tiphaney (Austin) Davidson, Cody Leath, Kiersten, Ashley, Katey and Michael Goins. 2 great - great nephews Sawyer James Leath and Knox Raider Davidson; whom she loved and cared for daily. She was Aunt Syl to many others that she loved and cherished dearly. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, State Route , Goshen, on Tuesday, November 14th from 1 PM until time of funeral services beginning at 2 PM.
