Tamah Lorraine Herrmann, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, cradled in her mother's arms with her father by her side at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on October 25, 1963, Tamah was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Though she faced developmental challenges, Tamah's life was defined not by limitations, but by the love, joy, and humor she so freely shared. Her zest for life shone brightly, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone around her.
Tamah delighted in collecting character dolls and stuffed animals, each one a cherished treasure that brought her happiness. She also loved shopping-whether bringing home special finds or asking her mother to capture pictures of things she admired. Her creative spirit found expression in writing and transcribing her thoughts and ideas. While vocal communication was sometimes difficult, she always had much to say. She expressed herself beautifully through her faith in Jesus and her heartfelt prayers.
Tamah is survived by her loving mother, Carlyn Herrmann; her father, Eugene Herrmann; her brothers, Scott (Gina) Herrmann and Daniel (April) Herrmann; and her sister, Jessica Reid. She was a devoted aunt to Valerie (Louie) Galbraith, Rachael (Ian) Martinez, and Matthew (Marissa) Moore and Cooper and Emersyn Herrmann. She was also a proud great-aunt to Carlyn and Isabella Martinez; and Carter and Abigail Moore.
Tamah will be remembered not only for her silliness (@1funnybunny) and her unwavering faith, but also for the love she radiated to all who knew her. Though she has left us physically, her spirit will live forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be private.
