Theresa Kirkland (nee Hachey), beloved wife of the late Charles Wesley Kirkland Sr.; devoted and loving mother of the late Charles Wesley Kirkland Jr.; loving mother of Christopher William Kirkland, cherished mother-in-law of the late JoAnne Kirkland; loving grandmother of Matthew Alexander Kirkland (and his wife Ashley), Benjamin Douglas Kirkland (and his wife Allie), Chelsie Fridley (and her husband Chris), Blair Fry (and her husband Austin); dear sister of the late Harold Hachey, the late Ray Hachey, the late Margaret Froias, the late Betty McGrath, the late Helen Pelote, and the late Roseanna Credit.

Loving and caring great grandmother of Jackson Kirkland, Calvin Kirkland, Leo Kirkland, Charlotte Fridley, Aurora Fridley, Harper Fridley, Chance Fridley, and Arlo Fry.

Theresa was a loving and giving homemaker who cared deeply for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Theresa was born in Shirley Massachusetts in 1926. During WWII she met Charles 'Kirk' Kirkland and they married in 1948. They lived in Fort Worth Texas for about 15 years, and during that time their two sons Wes and Chris were born. They moved to Nashville Tennessee in 1966. She helped start a Red Cross volunteer group at Southern Hills hospital in Nashville where she enjoyed caring for others. Her dear husband Kirk passed away in 1997. She was passionate about her health, walking and exercising well into her 80's. She loved animals of every kind.

She passed away peacefully on November18, 2021 at the age of 95.

Evans Funeral Home (Milford, OH) is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Hospice of Cincinnati.

A memorial to celebrate Theresa's life will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at River Hills Christian Church (6300 Price Rd. Loveland, OH 45140) with Pastor Jeff Metzger officiating.
