Theresa Y. Lewis

Theresa Y. Lewis, 86, of Milford, Ohio, was called home, September 8, 2022, at Bethesda North Hospital. The daughter of Stanton and Frances (Miller) Goble in Cedar Grove, Indiana. Theresa graduated from Whitewater High School and attended Miami University and University of Cincinnati. Theresa and David G. Lewis were united in marriage June 9, 1956, at the Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel, Indiana. Theresa worked at Cinergy Electric Company and Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, retiring in 2002. She volunteered for Cincinnati Bell Pioneers. She enjoyed spending time with her family but loved her two grandchildren, Libby, and Erika House, teaching them to sew and cook. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Nancy House and her husband Ernie, granddaughters Elizabeth “Libby” and Erika House, sister Joyce Mason, and many dear friends who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, David G. Lewis, her loving son David W. Lewis and her dear brother Edwin Goble of Green Valley Arizona. Memorial service will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be given to Milford Schools Foundation, 1099 OH-131, Milford, Ohio 45150.
