**Obituary for Thomas Francis Delaney II**
Thomas Francis Delaney II, age 59, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on January 12, 2026. Born on January 23, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, Tom's journey through life was marked by an infectious passion for all things imaginative and heroic.
With a high school diploma tucked under his belt, Tom ventured into the world working at various places, including Amazon, Wendy's, and Cracker Barrel, where he touched the lives of many with his warm smile and good humor. As a beloved brother and uncle, he leaves behind his sister Trudy (Bobby) Gibson, brother Jeremy (Yersha) Delaney, sisters Abigail Delaney and his nephew Christopher Gibson, who will cherish the memories of their time spent together.
A lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction, Tom was happiest at the gaming table or exploring the vast universes of *Star Wars*, *Star Trek*, and *Doctor Who*. He loved delving into the thrilling depths of Dungeons and Dragons and could often be found playing *Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic*, *Champions of Norrath*, or battling through *Champions* online. Tom also had a keen interest in Bible prophecy videos, history, and the wonders of nature, showcasing a marvelous blend of imagination and curiosity.
To celebrate his vibrant spirit, a memorial service will be held at Evans Funeral Home Milford on January 23, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Tom will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery Miamiville, OH.

Thomas was preceded in death by parents Thomas & Mary Ann Delaney and brother Timothy Delaney.
