Thomas W. Doggett, a beloved husband, step-father, grandfather, brother and friend, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on October 20, 1952, in Mariemont, Ohio, Tom spent his final years in Milford, Ohio, where he created a warm and loving home for his family.
Tom was the cherished husband of the late Cathy Elaine Barnhart. He embraced the role of step-father to Chrissie (Chris) Kenyon and Jason (Terri) Barnhart, sharing with them a wealth of love and wisdom. As a grandfather, he took immense joy in the lives of Brittany Kenyon, Danielle (Luke) Waddell, and Marisa Kenyon. His heart swelled with pride as he welcomed his great-granddaughter, Brooklyn McNamara, into his life.
Tom was the loving brother to Alan (Sally) Doggett, Nancy (Jerry) Fletcher, Audrey Moore, Vivien (Lawrence) Carmichael, and the late Ed Doggett and Evelyn Doggett. He was preceded in death by a niece, Jacqueline Buchanan and survived by many other nieces and nephews. Tom was also preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Audrey (Williams)Doggett.
Tom devoted his career to the landscaping industry, where he found fulfillment in bringing beauty to nature and helping his neighbors. His passions extended beyond his work; he had a deep love for cars-old and new-and could often be found tinkering with engines or cruising the open road. Tom also cherished traveling to the western states, where he reveled in the stunning landscapes and adventures. Known for his quiet demeanor and dry sense of humor, he had a unique gift for storytelling. Gathering with friends and family brought him great joy, particularly the time spent with his grandchildren, whom he adored.
In this time of sorrow, may we all find comfort in the stories and memories we shared with Thomas W. Doggett, a kind soul who will forever remain in our hearts.
