Thomas E. Snider, born on June 21, 1939, in Owensville, OH, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 85. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a skilled carpenter who contributed to the construction of the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
Throughout his life, Thomas was known as an instrumentalist and had a passion for music and electronics, including audio and video equipment, and he provided high quality recordings for local bands and venues. His love for movies spanned genres, from classics like "Gone With the Wind" to beloved franchises like "Star Wars."
Tom is survived by his daughters Diana Snider, Carolyn Snider, Teresa Snider and Laura Snider, his grandsons Bryant (Shawna) Snider and Tyler Snider, his great-grandson Everett Snider and his brother Jerry (Georgia) Snider. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Tom is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jean Snider, his parents Ed and Lucille Snider, and his siblings Denny (Eddie) Snider, Vera Mae Snider and Judy Snider.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Thomas E. Snider is scheduled for July 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Louis Church, preceded by a Visitation starting at 10:00 am on the same day. He will be laid to rest immediately following at St. Louis Cemetery.
Thomas will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his craftsmanship in the construction industry. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
