Thomas N. Tringelof, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on April 6, 1965, in Cincinnati, OH, Tom dedicated his life to uplifting those around him with his warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit of generosity.
For 40 loving years, he shared his life with his devoted wife, Cheryl Tringelof. Together, they created a beautiful family, raising sons Shaun and Daniel, who were the pride and joy of Tom's life. He found immense happiness in supporting his boys and was known for his countless, heartfelt hugs that could light up even the gloomiest of days.
Tom was known for his selflessness, always looking out for others and willing to give the shirt off his back to help a friend or stranger in need. His sense of humor was a beacon, often filling rooms with laughter and joy. He had a classic way of knowing when to speak up, making his words resonate deeply with those fortunate enough to hear them.
A passionate sports fan, Tom enjoyed cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals and was a devoted bowler who found both joy and camaraderie on the lanes. His love for the sport led him to serve as a high school bowling coach for his boys' high school bowling team, where he took pride in supporting and mentoring them both on and off the lanes. He was at nearly every baseball practice and game for his boys, proudly supporting them through every inning, lesson, and milestone. He also had a love for the outdoors, often relishing sunsets and family vacations at Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Tom and Cheryl shared many joyful cruises, creating cherished memories with family that would last a lifetime. He embraced life fully and loved his dogs and grand dogs, welcoming them with open arms into his home and heart.
Tom will be dearly missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A funeral service will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on January 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM, preceded by a visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. As we gather to celebrate Tom's life, let us remember his laughter, selfless spirit, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
May his legacy of kindness and love continue to inspire us all.
