Thurmon Reece Anderson

Thurmon Reece Anderson, widower of Angela McDonald Anderson, died January 16, 2017 following a short illness. He was born February 25, 1931 in Casey County, Kentucky to the late Everett Dee and Lida Watson Anderson.

He is survived by his children Rita Anderson-McCord (David) and Terry Anderson; grandchildren Erin McCord, Lauren McCord and Brandon Anderson; great-grandchild Stella Foley; Carol Frantz (Chuck) who considered him the father of her heart, her children Ashley, Shannon and Sara along with grandchildren Porter and Michael - his daily buddies. He is also survived by his younger sisters Mary (Scott) Leonard, Faye Fox and Martha Frost, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Sue Anderson, older brothers Herman, Ova, John (Todd), Vertis, Vernon, Ambrose and younger brother James Anderson.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, on Friday, January 20th from 11 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 12 PM.
