It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Owen Gaffney, age 64, of Maineville, Ohio, who entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2026. Born in Akron, Ohio on August 6, 1961, Tim was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, family man, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tim was the beloved husband of Jayne Gaffney for 41 wonderful years. Their love was steady, loyal, and unconditional, and it became the heartbeat of the family they created with their children, Colleen (Michael) Frazier, Kelsey (Tyler) Calhoun, and Jack (Lindsey) Gaffney. He was proud to be Papa Tim to Mason Gaffney and Ryleigh Frazier, whose lives were brightened by his love and laughter. He also leaves behind his loving siblings: Kathleen, Barbara, Patricia, Noreen, Jamie, and Brigid. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Gaffney and Mary K. Gaffney.

Tim was a hardworking and honest man whose strength could always be counted on. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in Louisville, Ohio and worked for CVS Pharmacy for over 40 years. He then enjoyed an active, interest-filled retirement. He loved music and concerts, enjoyed working on home projects, and cherished outdoor activities. His family often remarked how he was always "saving the family," a testament to his caring nature and protective spirit. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Milford for over 20 years. More than anything, he was loyal - loyal to his family, the people he loved, and the values he lived every day.

His presence in our lives was a gift, and as we gather to honor his memory, a visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen (1944 State Route 28), on Friday, June 5th from 5 PM to 7 PM. A funeral mass will follow the next morning at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (5890 Buckwheat Rd), 10AM. All who knew and loved Tim are welcome to join family following the service at one of his favorite places, Critters Tavern in Goshen, Ohio.

Timothy Owen Gaffney will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion will endure in all of us.
