Timothy A. “Odie” Young

Timothy was born May 4, 1952, to the late Robert and Katherine (nee Black) Young in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Mary Young; Loving father to Jessie Black, Jenny (Eric) Burton; Cherished Pop pop to Tessa Black, Ava Black, Jackson Burton, and the late Alex Burton; Dear brother of Tom (Darlene) Young, Mike (Sharon) Young, the late Ray (late Glenda) Young, the late Bobby (late Coleen) Young, the late Norma (Bill) Sydnor, the late Linda (Bill) Bridges, and the late Jack (late Betty) Young. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tim was a funny and intelligent man who loved his family. He was also a kind, loving, generous, patient person who loved the Lord. Tim enjoyed camping with his family, NASCAR, classic cars, and the Pumpkin Run. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Timothy passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 71. Resident of Batavia, Ohio. A visitation will be held on Friday March 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Evans Funeral Home- 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, OH 45122. Funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made in Timothy’s memory to the Clermont County Animal Shelter.
