Tina Day Reese

Tina Day Reese, 54, passed away on October 4, 2019 at her home in Goshen, OH surrounded by family. Tina's passing comes after a hard-fought, two-year battle with breast cancer.
Tina was born on June 13, 1965 in Cincinnati, OH. She volunteered/worked for Goshen Local School District for over 15 years in multiple roles, and most recently worked as EMIS Coordinator for Forest Hills Local School District. Tina married her motorcycle-riding, love of her life, Rich Reese, on July 26, 1986. They devoted 37 amazing years to each other in total. Together they raised two children, Tiffany and Ryan Reese.
Tina was a devoted wife, Mom, sister, daughter, Aunt, friend, and most recently an extremely proud Grandma. She was selfless, always putting others before herself, and never missed an opportunity to show for someone she loved. Tina was smarter than she'd admit, witty, an amazing listener, creative/crafty, and loved the simple things in life which always included a good pair of jeans.
Tina is survived by her husband, Richard Gerard Reese, Jr.; daughter, Tiffany Crystal Reese; son, Ryan Gregory (Hannah Marie) Reese; adored granddaughter, Raelynn Josephine Reese; sister, Tanya (Kevin) Snarr; brother, Troy (Laura) Day; her parents, Gregory Day and Arlene Devine; her father-in-law Dick (JoAnn) Reese; sisters-in-law, Terry (Jeff) Lyon and Kym Pate; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as, her great-nephews and great-nieces.
Tina is preceded in death by her beloved mother-in-law, Levina Jean Reese; brother-in-law, John "JB" Pate; grandparents, Katherine "Kate" and Earl Day; grandparents, Beulah and Pearlie "Pete" Barr.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at the Reese residence, 4717 Creekstone Ridge, Goshen, OH 45122 from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, October 13. A service will follow the gathering at 4:15.
