Tracy Gail Jones

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Gail Jones, age 59, of Loveland, Ohio, who left us peacefully on January 21, 2025. Born on January 17, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tracy was a cherished daughter, mother, and grandmother who brought joy to those around her with her creative spirit and love for life.

Tracy was the proud daughter of Richard and Alice Herndon and a devoted mother to her seven children: Melinda (Dwayne) Keeton, Taryn (Josh) Elliott, Allison (Jacob) Pittman, Brian Jones, Samantha Jones, Amanda (Charles) Strunk, and Carlita Jones. Her life was filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished moments with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Also survived by parents Richard and Alice Carol Herndon and siblings Richard (Diane) Herndon, Steve (Vicky) Herndon, Kimberly (Frank) Sheehy, late Robin Herndon, Kelley (William) Doan, Chris (Angie) Herndon and Andrew (Heather) Herndon.

A woman of many talents, Tracy had a passion for reading and spent countless hours diving into the pages of her favorite books. She had an eye for photography, capturing precious moments and the beauty around her, and her artistic and crafty endeavors brought color and warmth into the homes of those she loved. Tracy also loved spending time in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals that were often accompanied by the laughter of family and friends around the table. The ocean held a special place in her heart, and she created many joyful memories by its shores.

In loving memory of Tracy, her family will hold a celebration of her life that reflects her vibrant spirit and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. The funeral services will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday January 28, 2025, visitation starting at 10 AM, at Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, OH. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring the beautiful legacy of Tracy Gail Jones, whose kindness and creativity will forever be remembered and cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tracy's name, as a tribute to the generous heart she embodied throughout her life.

As we remember Tracy, let us carry forward her legacy of love, creativity, and joy-values she instilled in everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Tracy was preceded in death by husband Dennis Jones and sister Robin Herndon.
