Verna Louise Baese

Verna Louise (nee Greenfield) Baese of Milford, Ohio passed away at home on April 18, 2018 at age 92 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William Baese; her parents, Van Oren Greenfield and Blanche (nee Bartlett) Greenfield; and sisters, Nadine Wurth and Velma Ryan. She will be greatly missed by her children, Walter Dean Baese and Diane (Tom) Buckley. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kristen (Tony) Depoi and Tom (Carrie) Buckley; and great grandchildren, Logan and Jaxon Buckley, Kelsey McDonough and Emma Depoi.
Born on June 24, 1925 in Golden City, Missouri and later moving to Kansas City. She had many fond memories of the years spent with her family and friends in Missouri. Later she moved to Rochester, New York, where she worked as an editor for School Pictures. Upon her retirement, she moved to Milford, Ohio. She will be remembered as a exceptionally loving mother who was an encourager to everyone around her. She was a beloved member of her church, served as a Bible School teacher, choir member and a member of mission trips.
Visitation will be held at the Redemption Baptist Church, 10208 Cozaddale Murdock Road, Goshen, OH on Sunday April 22nd from 4:30 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at the church. Burial will take place with a graveside service at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday April 24th at 1:00 PM
