Verniece (nee Collins) Valentine beloved wife of James "Jim" Taylor Valentine; loving mother of Rick Minor, Rita Burroughs and Jackie (Tommy) Bray; cherished grandmother of Devon Burroughs, Dylan Burroughs, Logan Bray, Lindsay Bray, Billy Minor and Melinda Eickenhorst; great grandmother of Brittany, Anthony, Nicholas, Emma and Jenna; great great grandmother of Carter, dear sister of Elizabeth Parton and Violet Padgett; aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lucy (nee Pugh) Collins; and siblings, Charles Collins, Bud Collins, Rene Niece, Josephine Tracy, Imogene Smith and Elsie Lunsford. Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 6, 2021. Age 82. Residence Goshen, OH. Verniece was retired from Heekin Can Company. She loved the color of red and her family requests that you wear something red to honor her at her visitation and service. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St Rt 28, Goshen, OH on Monday March 15th from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery in Goshen, OH Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
