Vernon Banks beloved husband of Georgia (nee Craft) Banks; loving father of Harold (Judy) Banks; cherished Papaw of Ashley (Matt) Martin, Heather (Josh) Sawyer and Matthew (Rachael) Long; great Papaw of Shane, Tommy, Ciersten, Allison, Nova, Cody, Lydia, Leo, Liam and Westley. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 8, 2018. Age 87. Residence Milford. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford on Thursday April 12, 2018 from Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Cincinnati.
