Vernon L. Pennington, husband of the late Patricia Pennington, devoted father of Nathaniel Pennington and Verna Pennington, loving grandfather of 5, dear brother of Marion Pennington, Marshall Smith, Phyllis Martin and step brother of Linda, nephew of Harold Johnson and Wanda McCaslin. Vernon was a dedicated Patriot who deeply loved his country and proudly served as a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. He passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 77. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Tuesday, July 18th from 1-2 PM. Funeral Services will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens at 2:30 PM
