Vicki O'Reilly

Vicki (Pottorf) O'Reilly, of Deer Park, Ohio, born February 11, 1950, passed peacefully on December 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of Clifford "Skip" O'Reilly, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion, laughter, and partnership.

When Heaven opened its gates for her, she was welcomed by her daughter PJ, who had been waiting to greet her after 42 years apart. We are certain there was a celebration the moment she arrived.

Vicki lived with a heart wide open. She never met a stranger-truly. Whether you knew her for decades or met her once, she made you feel like family. She welcomed people instantly, without hesitation, and had a gift for making anyone feel right at home. She would offer the shirt off her back, a warm meal, or a listening ear to anyone who needed it. Her kindness was effortless, and her acceptance of others was unconditional.

She is survived by her husband Skip and their children: June O'Reilly-Farler; Chip (Maureen) O'Reilly; Holly (Jeff) Hosbrook; Candy (Mark) O'Reilly-Schmidt; Pete (Holly) O'Reilly; Jesse (Liz) O'Reilly; Chad O'Reilly; and Joey O'Reilly.

She leaves behind a large and loving family, including numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth, humor, and unwavering love.

She is further survived by her siblings Jerry, Diane, Johnny, Danny, Shelley, Janet, Lana and Larry, as well as her in-laws Jim and Shirley.

She also leaves behind her cherished pets, Roxy and Crystal, who were constant companions and sources of comfort.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Orville Pottorf; her mother, Flo (later Strong); her daughter, PJ; her granddaughters, Hope and Caroline; her siblings Jimmy, Cliff, and Jackie; and many dear friends who no doubt welcomed her with open arms.

She taught her family to lean on one another, to stay strong, and to understand that grieving is another form of loving. Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful she is no longer in pain. We will take care of Skip, and we will take care of each other-just as she taught us. Her love will echo through our lives forever, just as she always promised.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for her closest family.
