Vinievier Simpson

Vinievier "Vin" Simpson, age 86 of Miami Township, passed surrounded by his family the afternoon of November 4, 2015 at the Hospice South West Care Center. He was born April 14, 1929 in Pineville, Kentucky the son of Adrian and Lillie Mae Simpson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Underwood Simpson in January of 1996 and a daughter, Telia Simpson. He is survived by his children and spouse, Dennis, Quinn, Vinnie (Tricia) and Rick Simpson, grandchildren, Summer Burton, Stacy & Amber Simpson, Angie & Rachel Hall, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Erleta Bingham and Thelma Slusher, brother, Charles Simpson. Along with his wife & daughter he was preceded in death by his siblings, Fred Miracle, John Bennett Miracle, Newman Miracle, Henrietta Lee, Debbie Simpson, Vannie Simpson and Mamia Johnson. Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Oh 45122. Visitation will be observed 6:00 to 8:00PM on Monday the 9th. Reverend Rick Sallee will officiate. Burial will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.
