Virginia S. Dalton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia "Sis" Dalton, who departed this life peacefully on March 24, 2025, at the age of 64. Virginia was born on March 13, 1961, in Mariemont, Ohio, to Daniel E. Leadmon and the late Faye (nee Rust) Leadmon. Virginia spent her life touching the hearts of those around her with her unwavering spirit and kindness.

Virginia leaves behind her husband of 12 years, Terry A. Dalton; Loving mother to Josh Lewis and the late Veronica Lewis from her first marriage to Donald Lewis, who sadly passed away in 1999. Dear sister of Tina "Peach" (Kenny) Powell and Donnie "Bubba" Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Growing up, Virginia demonstrated a natural talent for arts and crafts, and her passion for creativity was reflected in her love for painting. A devoted Christian, she found immense joy in attending church, studying her Bible, and serving her community. Virginia devoted many hours to the Bread of Life through Landmark Church, where she selflessly offered food and clothing to the homeless.

Virginia was a ray of sunshine and filled every room with her bubbly personality and infectious laughter. Her cheerful demeanor and beautiful smile had the unique ability to light up the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She cherished her family deeply and embraced every moment spent with them, leaving a legacy of love and warmth that will be remembered forever.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Plainview Cemetery - Wayne Township.
