Virginia Lee Macleod

Virginia Gent MacLeod, beloved wife of the late Donald MacLeod. Devoted mother of Linda MacLeod McDermott and Donald F (Bonita) MacLeod. Loving grandmother of Vanessa (Mike) Lewis, James (Crista) McDermott, Thomas MacLeod and Lauren (Chris) McGrath. Loving great-grandmother of Morgan Lewis, Natalie McGrath, Jake McGrath, Jack McDermott and Max McDermott. Virginia passed away March 20, 2018 at the age of 97 in Milford, OH.
Virginia grew up in Honaker, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Home Economics degree and was a member of the first women's class at the college. In 1942, she married Lt. Donald MacLeod. After WWII they moved to Milford, OH and started their family. Virginia and Don retired to Kilmarnock, Virginia where they spent over 30 years sailing the Chesapeake Bay and inter-coastal waterways. No immediate services are planned.
