Walter Douglas Collins

Walter Douglas Collins Doug beloved husband to Louella S. Collins (nee Shaver) for 55 years. Loving father to Regina Sue Collins (preceding him in death), Anthony Wayne Collins, Mike Clyburn, Greg (Sue) Clyburn and Shari Collins. Also survived by many grandchildren, their spouses and several great grandchildren.

Doug was the youngest of 12 children born to Clay and Elmira Collins of Trapp, KY, all who have preceded him in death. He worked for the Keebler Co. for 40 years. He was an avid woodworker and craftsman. Talented beyond compare in all that he did. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.

The family has decided to forego a service at this time, but plans will be made for a celebration of life this summer. Please contact the family if you wish to be notified of the date and time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
