Walter A. Giordano

Walter A. Giordano age 94, of West Chester passed Friday, Tuesday, April 8, 2016 at the Heritagespring Health Care Facility. He was born February 21, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during W.W.II, a member of the Syrian Temple Shrine, the American Legion Post #69 and the VFW Post #3744. Walter was retired from Stewart Industries in Blue Ash and from General Electric as a machinist. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (nee Maher) daughter & son-in-law Maureen & Keith Himmer, son Walter Giordano J., grandchildren; Dennis Himmer and Nick Giordano & 3 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was proceded in death by his first wife Marilyn Kimball Giordano, brother Ralph Giordano Jr. and sister Alice. A Funeral Liturgy will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford with visitation from 12:30 until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Miami Township. The family request memorials in his honor to the Syrian Shrine 9730 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45215.
