Ward Lee Griffis

Ward Lee Griffis, 77 of Miami Twp. Loveland, OH passed away May 5, 2016 with wife Jackie and children present. Ward is a USMC Veteran and retired employee of Ford Motor Co. Batavia, OH. Ward was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Ann Griffis 12-26-1959 (Loretta Helton). He was one of 10 children born to Sylvia and Ward Griffis of McCreary County KY.

'Big Grampy' was a grandfather to 6 children and great grandfather of 2 children. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Krimmer, daughter Michelle Julien (Roger), sons Jason (Nicole) and Patrick (Jamie), and his youngest Jillian Krueger (Jeffrey).

Ward had a few passions in life: UK Basketball, Reds Baseball, golf, motorcycles, chocolate peanut butter milk shakes, and nature. Ward's visitation will commence at Evans Funeral Home in Milford OH on 5-10-2016 at 10 am. Services begin at 11 am with burial immediately following at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, OH.
