William "Bill" Mccomas

Our dear, William 'Bill' McComas, 80, of Williamsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 20th, 2022. His beloved wife of 58 years Carol McComas (Tudor) and family were by his side. Bill is survived by his uncle George McComas, sister Linda Gauggel (Denzler), sister-in-law Angela McComas and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bill was a loving and devoted husband and uncle to all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nettie Denzler (Hopper) and Vernon McComas; and siblings Bobby McComas, Patty Liljequist (Denzler) and Kenny Denzler. Bill worked for the Ford Motor Company for 36 years at the Batavia plant. He was an avid golfer and an all-around sportsman, who coached girls’ softball and basketball for many years. There wasn't a sport he didn't excel at. Bill was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects and whatever else people needed him for. He was selfless in nature and had a truly giving and caring heart. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home – Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150, on Wednesday, February 23rd from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11am on February 24th followed by burial at Batavia Union Cemetery.
