Obituary for William Robert Douglas It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved William Robert Douglas, who left this world on August 21, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on April 6, 1945, in the Bronx, New York, Bill was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend who touched the lives of many.

Bill spent his life in pursuit of knowledge and purpose. After earning his bachelor's degree, he built a successful career as an insurance broker and investigator, forging lasting relationships along the way. Yet it was not only his career that defined him: Bill had a passion for hobbies and sports-whether tinkering with model planes and trains or encouraging young athletes on the soccer field. As both a coach and referee in Milford youth soccer, his enthusiasm and guidance left an indelible mark on countless children, teaching them to play with heart, fairness, and determination.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Marie (née Green), and their five children: William (Kirsten), Patricia, Pamela (Robert Clark), Sharon, and Kevin. He was the proud grandfather of Sarah, Jake, Kyle, Logan, Emily, Elyse, Miranda, Cody, and Josh, and the loving great-grandfather of Matthew, Sophia, Quentin, Ruby, and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Douglas.

Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring Bill's life and legacy. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. In the spirit of Bill, we hope all who attend will share laughter, joy, and a few of the many life lessons he so generously imparted.
