William Elmer Gerard

GERARD William Elmer - age 83, of Milford, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Hospice of Cincinnati of Anderson. He was born September 18, 1936 to Elmer and Frances (Riehle) Gerard in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Devoted father to Patty (Chris) Sigler and Coleen (Tim) Wening. Dedicated stepfather to Sharon (Paul) Spinnato, Cindy (Tim) Durham, Bob (Susan) Woods, Rick Woods, Kathy (Glen) Burress, Milton Woods, and Michael Durham.

Loving grandfather and great-grandfather to Matthew, Meghan, Isabel, James and Michaela. Also known as "Papa Bill" & "Grandpa Bill" to 22 step-grandchildren, 29 step-great-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-great-grandchildren.

Also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son Michael William Gerard, beloved wife of 22 years Edna Woods Gerard, uncle Kenneth Gerard, brother Ronald P. Gerard, and stepdaughter Audrey Woods Koebbe.

Visitation at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street Milford, OH 45150, Thursday July 30, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Due to current public health concerns, a private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church 6104 Desmond Street, Madisonville, OH 45227 with a Gravside interment for those who wish to attend at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 11000 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, Ohio 45249. The VFW Southwest Ohio Memorial Team will perform Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, please kindly consider donations to Hospice of Cincinnati.
