William Kenneth Holloway

August 12, 1936 — January 22, 2025

William “Ken” Holloway, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 12, 1936, in Greenwood, Kentucky, Ken’s journey on Earth was one of faith, love, and dedication to those he cherished. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Maggie (Ballou) Holloway, his beloved son-in-law, Kenny Dalrymple, and his dear in-laws, Rev. Frank Henderson, Virginia Henderson, and Janet Linville.

Ken was a man who lived with a heart full of purpose. For 47 years, he was the devoted and loving husband to Marjorie (Henderson) Holloway, and together, they built a life full of memories and shared faith. Ken was also a proud father to Kenny Lee (Cheryl) Holloway, Linda (Pete) Back, Michael (Juanita) Holloway, Barry McLin, and Susan (McLin) Dalrymple. His love for his children extended to his role as a doting grandfather to Jennifer (Brandon) Baer, Ryan Doan, Amanda Holloway, Austin Holloway, Andrew (Megan) Holloway, Kristen (Andrew) Hyden, and Ashley Dalrymple. As a great-grandfather, his heart swelled with joy for Grant Holloway, Asher Doan, Ezra Doan, Grayson Baer, Gracie Baer, and Micah Higgins Baer. His extended family, including in-laws Roger Henderson, Barbara Fox, Russell Henderson, Larry (Dianne) Henderson, and Donna (Chuck) Watson, were a constant source of support and love.

Ken’s journey with the Lord began at the age of 21, when he was saved at the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Norwood, Ohio. From that moment forward, his life was devoted to sharing God’s love with others. He passionately served through youth and music ministries, planting churches, and leading countless individuals to Christ. Ken and Marjorie’s gospel group, the “Rejoice Singers,” carried the message of faith far and wide, traveling to spread the gospel and witness many souls saved.

For all who knew him, Ken’s faith was unwavering, and his love for his family was boundless. His smile—a smile that could light up any room—was a reflection of the joy and peace that he carried within him. Ken's legacy is one of service, love, and devotion, and his impact will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1-3PM at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen. A service to honor Ken’s life will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at Evans Funeral Home, with Pastor Howell Hackler officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Ken’s legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire all who were touched by his presence.
