William Edward Jost

William Edward Jost, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 60 years to Emma Jost (nee Grassan). Devoted father to Kristine (Christopher) McDonough and Ben (Amy) Jost. Loving grandfather to Jacob McDonough, Sydney McDonough, Sam Jost, and Sarah Jost.

Ed enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful roses, cooking, and fishing. He loved grilling for his family, taking summer vacations to the beach, and watching the Cincinnati Reds. Ed had a long career in Human Resources, including jobs at the Los Angeles Times and Caterpillar Dealers. He will be fondly remembered for his dry wit, cigars, silly jokes, happy hours, and above all, a lasting legacy of love and laughter.

Family will receive friends at Epiphany United Methodist Church 6635 Loveland-Miamiville Rd. Loveland, Ohio 45140 on Saturday, February 24 for visitation from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 AM. All are invited to attend a luncheon in the Social Hall immediately following the service.
