William "Mike" Kiser

William Micheal Kiser, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born on July 22, 1958. He created a legacy of love and laughter.

William, affectionately known as Mike, was a proud man with a great sense of humor who never met a stranger. He had a remarkable talent for connecting with people, and his warmth and generosity deeply touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Mike lived life to the fullest, riding his beloved Harley motorcycle and enjoying exhilarating days spent racing go-karts with his son, creating cherished memories that will be held dear by his family.

A dedicated member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Mike held a special camaraderie with his brothers, finding joy in the work and friendships he built throughout the years. His work ethic and commitment to his craft were admired by all who worked alongside him.

Mike's greatest pride came from his family. He was a loving husband to Linda Kiser, his partner in life, and their bond was a testament to love's enduring nature. He was the proud father of William Paul Hempel, Jamie Marie Hempel and Thomas Edward (Danielle) Risk, a doting grandfather to Bryant, Nash, Temperance, Coen, Charity, Hunter, William and Adele, a great-grandfather to Willow and brother of Dennis Eugene Kiser. Mike is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. His heart warmed at the sight of his growing family. He adored his cherished dog, Hazel, who was his loyal companion through life's journeys.

In remembrance of Mike, a visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on March 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. His family invites all who knew and loved him to join them in celebrating a life well lived.

His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Billie Jean Kiser and his siblings, Carl Felix, James, Linda, Roger Dale, Joe Russel and Ricky Lee.
