William Edward Mccreadie

William (Bill) Edward McCreadie, age 74, passed away from complications of cancer on April 21, 2020, loving husband of Nancy L. McCreadie, nee Schweikert, beloved father of Billy E. McCreadie II (Catherine Cook), Shawn K. McCreadie (Laura McCreadie), and Casey P. McCreadie (Melissa Latham), dear brother of Donna Waddell and Katherine McCreadie Hodges, devoted grandfather of Amber R. McCreadie, and step grandfather of Sean Laake, Connor Laake, Emma Kate Laake, and Dalton Widmeyer. No services will be held at this time due to the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, send memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He would always make you laugh and try to get you to smile. He would always want to share a conversation over a meal. He was a kind, generous man.

Bill, as a young man was a Boy Scout and earned Life Scout rank. As a young man, he worked at his dad's service station in Blue Ash. As a teenager, he fell in love with cars and eventually spent a short time at Glenway Chevrolet as a Mechanic, then he got promoted to Service Manager. Along the way, Bill built and raced dragsters for fun. Bill spent 52 years of his life loving his wife Nancy and raising their three boys Billy, Shawn, and Casey. Bill was a salesmen for many years, from selling signs at Gulf Development to Opening up his own successful business in 1983 called PDQ Pole Buildings, then expanding to open PDQ Doors Sales and Service. Over the years, Bill had many hobbies like dragsters, boating with his family, and most recently, visiting casinos across the country. He will be greatly missed.
