William Randall Wakefield

William "Randy" Wakefield

Randy Wakefield passed away March 4, 2024. He is survived by his wife Sherry Amburgey, his beloved dog, Fergie, brother John (Jean) Wakefield, sister Miranda (Rich) Grace-Anderson, sisters-in-law Dottie Wakefield and Karen Wakefield, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers Peter and Timothy.

Randy attended Madeira High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, where he also enjoyed playing in a bluegrass band. After graduating from UC, Randy founded Wakefield & Associates, a contract interior design company, where he spent his career. He also served numerous years as an adjunct professor at his alma mater, UC. Randy had a passion for bluegrass music, photography, and cooking. He will be greatly missed by numerous friends and family.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or a charity of your choice.
